Engineer Luis Manuel Avila, minister of the Sugar Industry, sent a congratulation message to the workers of Majibacoa Sugar Mill, of the eastern province of Las Tunas, for the fulfillment of the plan in the current harvest.
The text reads that the success constitutes a true incentive for the industrial workers who did their best to cut the whole necessary cane in order to fulfill their goals during intense work days.
The newscast of Radio Victoria points out that the Sugar Minister considers important that Majibacoa continues milling until producing some other eight thousand tons until June.
In accordance with the program for the current harvest, the Company Majibacoa will mill the whole cane of its territory, about 15 kilometers to the east of this city, as well as some of the raw material of he municipalities of Jesus Menendez, and of Puerto Padre.
