GERMAN output of refined sugar in the new 2010/11 season is likely to fall to 3.671m tonnes against 4.2m tonnes in the previous season, the German sugar industry association WVZ said on Tuesday in its first production forecast.
It also said that the first test on sugar beets for the forthcoming crop showed a sugar content of 12.9% against 14.5% in the same test last year.
