Louis Dreyfus & Cie SA’s Brazilian sugar and ethanol unit LDC Bioenergia plans to raise at least $1 billion in a share sale in Brazil, Valor Economico reported, without saying where it got the information.
Other companies in the sugar and ethanol industry, including ETH Bioenergia SA and Adecoagro may also sell stock in the country, the Sao Paulo-based newspaper reported.
The oil and natural-gas arm of Queiroz Galvao group and Petra Energia SA also plan to sell shares in the country, Valor said.
