Cambodia's first fuel ethanol plant MH Bio-Energy located in Kandal province will resume production in October after having been shut down in April following a spike in cassava prices.
The factory requires at least 10,000 tonnes of cassava a month to produce ethanol but poor harvests in southeast Asia have meant that prices for this product have gone through the roof.
