DENVER — Corn is leading grain prices higher as new purchases by Japan, South Korea and Mexico lift U.S. exports.
Analysts say corn is also getting an indirect boost because China is buying dried distiller's grains from the U.S., a byproduct of ethanol processing. China doesn't normally buy regular U.S. corn.
Corn, wheat and soybeans all settled higher Thursday.
Metals and energy are mixed as the dollar rose against other currencies.
