The president and managing director of Total Philippines Ernst Wanten has called on the Philippines government to encourage the building of more ethanol processing plants.
‘There’s a shortage [of ethanol] in both the local and international markets so it is really difficult to get reliable supply of ethanol at the moment.’
Wanten says the government must invest more in the ethanol industry.
Total has made preparations for the future and is ready for the E10 blend in petrol.
