The Fiji sugar industry is asking Australia to reconsider what assistance it can give the country following the devastation of crops.
Sugar is the main agricultural crop and wind and rain from five days of storms have devastated cane paddocks.
The country's cane growing council says the storms have caused millions of dollars of damage.
