Lima, Peru will host the F.O. Licht’s Ethanol Latin America Conference, a world conference focused on ethanol and its derived products, which will cover and analyze new strategic opportunities of production, trade and investment for the ethanol industry in the country and Latin America.

The gathering, which will take place in Piura, northern Peru, from December 3 to 5, will bring together biofuel producers, traders, sugar millers, technology companies, shipping and logistics companies and users of fuel, industrial and beverage ethanol.

F.O. Licht’s Ethanol Latin America conference will be a unique opportunity to network and hear from key industry players from a region that offers huge potential for expansion and investment.

Thus, this three-day-event will be a great chance to hear first-hand the strategic issues ethanol producers from across the region including Peru, Colombia, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, Ecuador and Suriname.

Among the keynote speakers of this year’s edition are Latin American ethanol producers and industry leaders such as Senior Investment Officer of the Structured and Corporate Finance Department of the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB), Sergio Rivera-Zeballos; as well as the Senior Biofuels Economist of the Foreign Agricultural Service of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Paul Trupo.

The attendees at the event will be able to identify production growth opportunities within the Latin American and Caribbean region, looking at intra-region and international trade dynamics and identify supply gaps for both fuel and non-fuel ethanol

Moreover, it will be also beneficial to assess production cost drivers for ethanol markets and their implications on producer margins.
